FryeCare Physicians Network has announced the addition of Lauren Ward, FNP-C, ACNPC-AG, to its medical team at FryeCare Lung Center in Hickory, North Carolina. Ward will provide primary care services to patients of all ages, including children, teens, and adults. Her expertise includes treating conditions such as asthma, chronic cough, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), sleep apnea, pulmonary hypertension, interstitial lung disease, and idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis.
“Every detail a patient shares is important,” Ward emphasized. “Listening attentively is a core principle in providing holistic care. Each patient interaction should be approached with empathy, respect, and a commitment to provide the best possible care.”
Ward's educational background includes a medical degree from the University of South Alabama in Mobile and a bachelor's degree in nursing from Bellarmine University in Louisville.
