Frye Regional Medical Center has announced the appointment of Tim Kagle as the new vice president of operations. Kagle, who has over 27 years of experience in healthcare administration, will bring his extensive knowledge and leadership skills to the hospital's executive team.
In his new position, Kagle will manage the hospital's operational strategies, focus on improving efficiencies, and aim to uphold a high standard of patient and family-centered care. With his background in hospital leadership and a commitment to operational excellence, Kagle is expected to significantly advance the medical center's mission to enhance community health.

Before his current role, Kagle served as vice president of surgical services and president of the UPMC rehabilitation network in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. There, he managed multiple departments and provided administrative and clinical oversight. Kagle’s past roles have emphasized improving patient outcomes, enhancing patient satisfaction, boosting employee engagement, increasing patient volumes, and maintaining regulatory compliance and financial performance.
Kagle has also held senior leadership positions, such as chief executive officer at Greenwood Regional Rehabilitation Hospital in Greenwood, South Carolina; administrative vice president at Saint Clair Hospital in Mt. Lebanon, Pennsylvania; and vice president of operations at Encompass Health in Birmingham, Alabama.

Kagle holds a Master of Business Administration from Troy University in Troy, Alabama, and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia. Throughout his career, Kagle has participated on multiple boards, holding various leadership roles across different states.
