Congressman Pat Harrigan took to social media to discuss various subjects on April 16 and 17, 2025. Harrigan's online expressions included views on political matters, local healthcare developments, and a personal milestone.

On April 16, Harrigan criticized Senator Chris Van Hollen's actions in a tweet. He shared, "Senator Chris Van Hollen is flying to El Salvador to fight for an illegal MS-13 gang member who was rightfully deported. @ChrisVanHollen calls him a “Maryland man.” He’s not. He’s a violent foreign criminal, and your taxpayer dollars are being used to try and bring him back." This statement highlights Harrigan's disapproval of Van Hollen's involvement in the case, portraying it as a misuse of public funds.

Later that day, Congressman Harrigan shared his experience at a local healthcare event: "Spoke at the reopening of the inpatient rehab unit at Frye Regional, which has served the Catawba Valley for over a century. It was great to meet the team and see the difference they’re making for patients and families throughout the region." Here, he expressed appreciation for the contributions of the healthcare team to the community.

On April 17, in a more personal tweet, Harrigan celebrated a significant personal anniversary. He noted, "Happy 15th anniversary to the most brilliant and vibrant woman I know, @RockyHarrigan! Her radiant personality brightens every room, and my life becomes more meaningful each day with her by my side." Through this message, Harrigan shared his admiration and affection for his spouse.

Chris Van Hollen is serving as a United States Senator for Maryland while Congressman Pat Harrigan is representing a district in North Carolina.
