Town of North Wilkesboro issued the following announcement on June 30.
Celebrate Independence Day in downtown North Wilkesboro. We'll have a deejay starting at 6:00p, followed by the Silvio Martinat Big Band on the Marketplace Stage, food on site, tailgating, balloon artist, emergency vehicle parade at 8:00pm, and of course a super fireworks display at dark.
