County of Burke issued the following announcement on Sep 24.
The Burke County Board of Adjustment will hold a Public Meeting at 6:00 PM on October 12, 2021, in the Commissioners Meeting Room/County Services Building located at 110 N. Green St. in Morganton, NC (Door E). At the meeting they will take public comment regarding the following matters:
SUP 2021-17 (Charles Bolick, Applicant) Request for a special use permit to construct a 900 square foot (30x30) accessory structure/garage for residential storage use at 7280 NC 18 South (PIN # 2740606300) of Burke County.
SUP 2021-18 (Duke Energy Corporation, Applicant) Request for a special use permit to remove an existing communications tower and replace it with a new 270’ foot tall (Lattice Design) communications tower at 4912 High Peak Mountain Road (PIN # 2722589193) in Burke County.
