Wilkes County Schools issued the following announcement on Sept. 10.

Attention high school students and families! You’re invited to attend an evening with Joaquin Zihautanejo! 

 Come to the Stone Center on Thursday, September 15th at 6pm and learn from Joaquin’s experiences on how you can support your students as they navigate their high school years and make decisions about life after high school. 

Each family in attendance will have a chance to win a $100 visa gift card. 

 There will be 2 gift cards given away at the conclusion of the event.  You must be present to win.
