Wilkes County Schools issued the following announcement on Feb. 9.
The Wilkes County Board of Education will conduct a special called meeting on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at 5:30 p.m. in the Arnold and Becky Lakey Boardroom at 613 Cherry Street, North Wilkesboro, North Carolina. The purpose of this meeting will be to address revisions to the StrongSchools NC Public Health Toolkit. The agenda for this meeting includes closed session to begin at approximately 5:05 p.m. and open session to begin at approximately 5:30 p.m. This notice is issued on this 11th day of February, 2022. COVID-19 guidelines are required. Seating may be limited.
