Town of Valdese issued the following announcement on Apr. 28.

Important Message from the Valdese Water Department: We will be doing routine hydrant flushing in the areas of Bethel Road, Holly Hills Circle, Old NC 18, and Zion Road on Tuesday, May 3rd. If you notice discoloration to the water in your home, flush with cold water until water runs clear. If water does not clear after 15 minutes of flushing call 828-879-2128. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause our utility customers.
