Town of Valdese issued the following announcement on Feb. 9.
The Valdese Water Department will be flushing water lines on the east side of Valdese tomorrow, February ninth. This includes areas of Gardiol, Lovelady, Phillip, and Forest. If you notice discoloration to the water in your home, flush lines with cold water until water runs clear. If water does not clear after 15 minutes please call 828-879-2128. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause our utility customers.
