Town of Maiden issued the following announcement on Apr. 27.
Join the Parks and Recreation Department on May 1st from 1:30-4:30 for opening day of the Splash Pad. In the chance of bad weather, the event will be canceled. A final decision will be made on Sunday at 11:00. A post will be made if the event is canceled.
Friendly reminder from the Parks and Recreation Department:
Splashpad is open daily from 10am to 8pm May – September
Water shoes are highly recommended
Picnic shelter is rentable, reservations are made at Maiden Town Hall (must be made one week prior to event)
Splashpad and tables are not rentable
No smoking
No dogs
