Town of Maiden issued the following announcement on Oct. 10.
The Town of Maiden Mayor and Councilmembers have formed a team to participate in the Eastern Catawba Hunger Walk on Sunday, October 16, 2022. The three-mile walk will be from 3:00 pm- 5:00 pm with the goal of raising awareness of the hunger issue in our community. Our hope is to have a large turnout to support this important cause. If you decide to participate, we ask that you wear Maiden blue. We are excited for this event and hope to see you there. If you have any questions, please contact Wanda Barnes at 828-428-5010.
