Town of Long View issued the following announcement on Jan. 6.
The Town of Long View would like to recognize our Long View Police Department and thank them for their dedication and service to our town.
Their job typically is a thankless one and one day of appreciation doesn’t even scratch the surface of the gratitude they’re owed.
If you see an officer today, be it from Long View Police Department or any other agency, be sure to thank them for their service.
