Town of Long View issued the following announcement on Nov. 25.
The Town of Long View is excited to announce a recent change to our charter adopting the Council-Manager form of government for the town.
On Monday, November 21st, 2022, the Town of Long View Board of Aldermen appointed David Draughn as the town’s first Town Manager.
This changed Mr. Draughn’s roll from Town Administrator to Town Manager effective immediately.
The Council-Manager form of government is a very progressive step for the town.
