City of Hickory issued the following announcement on Aug. 3.
Mark your calendars for the inaugural City Walk Summer Stroll presented by the Hickory Downtown Development Association (Downtown Hickory). Bring the whole family to stroll along the City Walk from the Elks Club to Lenoir-Rhyne University enjoying arts and crafts, music, pop up sales, food trucks, games, face painting, and more!
Celebrate the City Walk Trail and Downtown Hickory! Take a bite to eat with you from a selection of local Food Trucks, located in the parking lot beside Lowes Foods City Park, as you stroll the City Walk over to LRU. With each step enjoy local craft vendors, non-profits and musicians. Stop for another snack at Allegra Print and Imaging parking lot! Meander with family and friends to St. Andrews Lutheran Church for fun and games! Finish with some LR Bears excitement at Lenoir-Rhyne University!
