City of Morganton issued the following announcement on July 11.
Power will be turned off for about 40minutes for some residents close to E. Concord St. to safely remove a tree from a power line.
Residents on White St, Dickinson St, King St, portions of S. Sterling, Randolph St, and E. Meeting St including the Sienna Apartments will be effected too.
Update: Power has now been restored.
