A Father's Day event will be held Saturday at Bethlehem Ace Hardware in Hickory, featuring white aprons that are embroidered with "Dad" in red.
It's the perfect in-store event for kids and families. Aprons and accompanying art supplies will be $15, a perfect Father’s Day gift.
While kids are decorating their aprons, parents can shop for extra gift ideas like barbecue sauces, barbecue spices, grilling tools, gift cards and maybe even a new grill.
Templates of some easy drawings will be on the tables to get creative juices flowing, along with paint pens that are resistant to water, fading and abrasion.
