Maiden High School issued the following announcement on Feb. 5.
Congratulations to Maiden High's Teacher of the Year, Elizabeth Taylor. Mrs. Taylor teaches various levels of art, photography and is the yearbook advisor. She has been described by her peers as hard working, creative, kind and a true go-getter. Liz is a "master of her art" and enjoys challenging her students to reach their potential. A true team player, Mrs. Taylor not only takes photographs for the yearbook but pitches in to cover lots of extra events and activities. In the classroom, she is a superb teacher who goes above and beyond to help her students and motivates them to sharpen their skills. MHS is blessed to have Elizabeth Taylor as a loyal Blue Devil Congratulations!
