City of Morganton issued the following announcement on Oct. 30.
City crews will be closing Asheville Street from Mimosa Street to Sanford Drive Tuesday, Nov. 2, to complete a manhole installation.
The road closure should only last one day. Once work is complete, Asheville Street will be reopened.
