City of Morganton issued the following announcement on Nov. 9.
Morganton City Hall and City facilities will be closed Thursday, November 11, 2021, in observance of Veterans Day. Garbage collection will be affected.
There will be no trash collection Thursday, November 11. If your garbage is normally collected Thursday each week, it will be collected Friday, November 12.
