Maiden High School issued the following announcement on Oct. 3.
Congratulations to the cross country team for their performance yesterday at the County Championship at Murrays Mill. The Blue Devils had several runners achieve their personal best. Hunter S. placed 2nd overall with a time of 17:58. Kylin W. placed 2nd overall and Shaley D. placed 7th. Great Job team. The team is back in action next week at Southside park for the United Way meet.
