Town of Long View issued the following announcement on Oct. 10.
Household cleaners, paint products, automotive products, pesticides, fertilizers, kerosene, batteries, pool chemicals, mercury thermometers, fluorescent tubes, computer monitors, TVs, VCRs, stereos, cell phones, pagers, calculators, fax machines, microwaves and much more!.
The County contracts with certified companies to ensure proper handling and security of waste collected.
No business waste will be accepted. No trailers allowed. Be prepared to wait due to anticipated high volumes
