Town of Hildebran issued the following announcement on Aug. 4.
On August the 8th beginning at 1am there is a scheduled power outage that will cover a large area of Hildebran and Longview.
Affected areas in Burke County will be most everyone from Highway 70 south, east of South Center St in Hildebran to the county line including Burke County Line Rd and County Line Rd.
The sechuled outage shouldn't last but a couple of hours and hopefully will not affect anyone dramatically.
