Alexander County recently issued the following announcement.
The School Nutrition Department will provide meals at no cost for the students/children (18 and under) during Christmas break. For parent convenience, these meals will be available on December 29, 2020, between the hours of 12 - 3:30 p.m. at Alexander Central High School. We will have breakfast and lunch for December 29-Jan. 3 (6 breakfasts and 6 lunches per child). Order form for pick up is due December 22.
We need to know how many meal packages you will be picking up for children (18 and younger).
With our new meal sealing machines, we can prepackage and freeze some lunch meals. Remember that frozen meals should be stored in the refrigerator or freezer immediately after you return home.
Milk will be available and is optional. Please indicate the amount of milk you will need, with the maximum amount of 1 (one) half-gallon + 4 cartons for the Dec. 29th pickup. Please only order milk that you have room to store.
