City of Newton recently issued the following announcement.
East Newton Community Meeting

The East Newton Community Meeting will be held at St. Paul United Methodist Church, 103 South Ervin Ave. The meeting is for the residents, property owners, business owners and those who work in East Newton or have a vested interest in the community and is an avenue for citizens to obtain information, give compliments and voice concerns.
City staff will be happy to help establish other community meetings throughout the City if citizens are interested.
