Alexander County recently issued the following announcement.
Memorial Day Schedule for Free Meals
This message is on behalf of the Alexander County School Nutrition Department regarding the free meals for children program. Many of you have taken advantage of the free meals for children during the statewide Stay at Home order and now the Safer at Home order.This message is to alert you of a slight change in the schedule. We will not be at the sites on Monday, May 25, as our staff will be observing the Memorial Day holiday.We are looking forward to seeing you tomorrow at the regular time and location as you pick up meals for your children. Tomorrow's lunch pick-up will include food for Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday! We will see you back again on Tuesday for our regular schedule.
