Congressman Pat Harrigan has recently taken to social media to share his views on traffic enforcement, federal policy achievements, and the state of the U.S. trade deficit.

On January 8, 2026, Harrigan posted about speed cameras, stating: “Speed cameras don’t make our roads safer. They exist to generate revenue, and the people paying the price are middle-class families!”

Later that day, he commented on the pace of recent actions by President Biden in 2026. In a tweet at 15:48 UTC, Harrigan wrote: “.@POTUS is moving at a pace in 2026 that’s almost hard to keep up with:

Withdrew the U.S. from”

At 16:00 UTC on the same day, Harrigan highlighted changes in the U.S. trade deficit over the past year. He stated: “Our trade deficit was $136 billion in March 2025, and thanks to @POTUS it’s now $29 billion. Absolutely incredible news—so incredible that even CNBC couldn’t hold back: ‘This is unreal… we haven’t been that small in a long time.'”

Pat Harrigan was elected to Congress after defeating Ralph R. Scott, Jr. in the 2024 general election with 57.5% of the vote.
