Congressman Pat Harrigan, who represents North Carolina’s 10th congressional district, recently posted a series of updates on his social media account addressing tax policy, national security, and veterans’ affairs.
On April 9, 2026, Harrigan reminded constituents about the upcoming tax deadline and highlighted recent legislative efforts: “April 15th is right around the corner, and before you file, make sure you know what the Working Families Tax Cuts mean for you. I voted for this because the people of #NC10 work too hard to keep sending so much to Washington. Here is what you may be eligible for: No tax on” (April 9, 2026).
In another post later that day, Harrigan commended law enforcement for their actions regarding classified information: “Tremendous work by @FBICharlotte! No clearance holder gets to decide their agenda is worth more than the lives of the operators depending on those secrets staying secret.” (April 9, 2026).
Addressing veterans’ issues in a third post, he wrote: “Their service did not end when they came home and neither does our commitment to them.” (April 9, 2026).
Harrigan was elected to Congress in 2024 after defeating Ralph R. Scott, Jr., securing approximately 57.5% of the vote compared to Scott’s 38.2%.
