Congressman Pat Harrigan has recently taken to social media to comment on federal climate regulation, immigration enforcement, and U.S. dependence on Chinese drone components.

On July 31, 2025, Harrigan addressed the Environmental Protection Agency’s endangerment finding in a post stating, “The endangerment finding gave federal agencies sweeping power to reshape the economy without a single vote in Congress. Revoking it is a major step toward restoring democratic accountability and reining in runaway climate regulation!”

The following day, August 1, 2025, he posted about recent trends in immigration enforcement: “ICE is arresting illegal immigrants at the fastest pace in over a decade under @POTUS. 149,084 arrests since January 50,000 arrests in the last 8 weeks 700+ arrests per day (double Biden’s pace) On track for 258,000 arrests in 2025 (highest since 2012) Biden’s”

Later that same day, Harrigan discussed concerns about reliance on Chinese manufacturing for critical drone technology. He wrote: “I asked defense officials what China’s dominance of the global drone market means for America. Their answer: most critical drone components are made in China, and we can’t deter Beijing if we depend on Beijing to build them.”

Harrigan represents his district after winning the general election against Ralph R. Scott, Jr. in 2024 with a decisive margin of approximately 57.5% of the vote.
