Congressman Pat Harrigan shared updates on social media on February 24, 2026, covering his legislative work, local engagements, and support for American service members.
In one post, Harrigan highlighted the actions of the USA Hockey team after their arrival at Joint Base Andrews: “Fresh off their arrival at Joint Base Andrews, members of the @usahockey team walked straight over to shake hands and take pictures with our troops. Just Americans showing up for Americans and that is what makes this nation unlike any other!” (February 24, 2026).
Later that day, he announced an upcoming visit to a local community: “Iredell County, we’re coming your way TOMORROW!” (February 24, 2026).
Harrigan also referenced his legislative efforts concerning environmental monitoring. He wrote: “Glad @PayloadSpace is highlighting my Methane Monitoring Science Act today. Methane leaks hurt our atmosphere and cost our energy producers billions, but my bill puts @NASA to work finding them, tracking them, and shutting them down for good.” (February 24, 2026).
Pat Harrigan was elected to Congress in 2024 after defeating Ralph R. Scott, Jr., securing about 57.5% of the vote.
