Congressman Pat Harrigan has recently shared a series of statements on social media regarding national leadership, legislative efforts, and the upcoming State of the Union address.

On February 24, 2026, Harrigan announced that Matt Van Swol would be his guest at the State of the Union. He wrote: “Proud to have you as my guest at the State of the Union, @mattvanswol! I have a feeling those 8 hours are going to be worth it. https://t.co/jTxw1sg12f”.

Later that day, Harrigan commented on President Biden’s administration and its impact on the country. He stated: “Biden did not break this country in a year and it will not take a year to restore it, but @POTUS is unwavering and the trajectory of this nation has fundamentally changed for the better. I sat down with the @DC_Reporter ahead of tonight’s address to share what I believe the” (February 24, 2026).

In another post addressing recent legislation, Harrigan criticized aspects of the ROTOR Act. On February 24, he wrote: “The ROTOR Act is well-intentioned, but it misses the mark. Rather than narrowly addressing the specific issue that led to the tragedy of AA 5342, it takes a sledgehammer to military operations and operational security far beyond the National Capital Region. It also places”.

Pat Harrigan serves as a U.S. Congressman after defeating Ralph R. Scott, Jr. in the 2024 general election by securing approximately 57.5% of votes against Scott’s 38.2%.
