Congressman Pat Harrigan has recently shared a series of statements on social media addressing legislative endorsements, foreign influence concerns, and the importance of leadership in American history.

On February 13, 2026, Harrigan announced an endorsement for his proposed legislation: “ENDORSEMENT: @NatPoliceAssoc has just endorsed my COPS Anti-Organized Crime and Cartel Enforcement Act! Drug cartels and transnational criminal organizations are poisoning our communities and destroying American lives. This bill provides $200 million to give our law”. The act is designed to bolster resources for law enforcement agencies combatting organized crime and drug trafficking.

Later that day, Harrigan highlighted concerns over foreign entities operating within the United States. He wrote on February 13, 2026: “Everyone is finally paying attention to foreign adversaries buying up American farmland, and they should be. But most people have no idea CCP-linked companies are already operating retail stores on our military bases. That’s why I introduced the Military Installation Retail”. The congressman referenced the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) in relation to these activities and mentioned introducing legislation aimed at addressing such operations.

On February 16, 2026, Harrigan reflected on national leadership during Presidents’ Day: “Presidents’ Day is a reminder that at every turning point in our history, leadership has made the difference. When the country has faced uncertainty, strength has steadied it. When we’ve been tested, conviction has carried us forward. The decisions coming out of the White House”.

Pat Harrigan was elected to Congress after defeating Ralph R. Scott, Jr. in the 2024 general election with 57.5% of the vote.
