Congressman Pat Harrigan, who secured his seat in 2024 by defeating Ralph R. Scott, Jr., recently posted a series of tweets covering topics from national defense to election security and foreign policy.

On February 19, 2026, Harrigan shared his experience touring a Northrop Grumman facility, stating, “Got to walk through @NorthropGrumman’s Palmdale facility and see the next-gen B-21 up close. It’s one thing to read about it, it’s another to stand there, talk with the engineers and builders, and see the work happening in real time. Serious aircraft, built by serious people,”.

Later that day, he addressed legislative efforts on election integrity. In a tweet dated February 19, 2026, Harrigan wrote, “.@HouseGOP has brought the SAVE Act to the floor and passed it three times. If @SenateGOP is serious about securing elections, then bring it to the floor, force the debate, and make Democrats explain why they oppose proof of citizenship to the 83% of Americans who support it.”

In another post on February 19, 2026, Harrigan commented on international security concerns: “I’m supporting designating the Polisario Front as a terrorist organization. When you see credible reporting of ties to Iran and networks linked to Hezbollah, that is not something you shrug off as distant geopolitics. Iran does not invest in armed groups out of charity, it”.

Harrigan’s remarks reflect ongoing debates in Congress over defense priorities and election laws. The SAVE Act referenced by Harrigan is part of a broader effort among House Republicans to require proof of citizenship for voting eligibility—a measure which proponents argue will secure elections but which faces opposition from many Democrats.

His statement regarding the Polisario Front aligns with concerns about Iranian influence in armed groups abroad. Allegations have surfaced linking this group with both Iran and Hezbollah; such associations have prompted calls for increased scrutiny within U.S. foreign policy circles.

Pat Harrigan won his congressional seat in 2024 with approximately 57.5% of the vote against Ralph R. Scott, Jr., reflecting significant support within his district.
