Congressman Pat Harrigan, who represents North Carolina and secured his seat in the 2024 general election against Ralph R. Scott, Jr., has recently commented on legislative and defense matters through a series of posts on his official social media account.

On July 29, 2025, Harrigan addressed recent legislative action in North Carolina, stating, “It shouldn’t take a veto override to define biology and protect kids, but here we are. HB 805 is common sense, and the North Carolina legislature got it right.”

The following day, July 30, 2025, Harrigan discussed the evolving role of drone warfare in international conflict. He wrote: “Drone warfare is reshaping modern conflict, and the numbers speak for themselves:

: 15 bunkers, 3,000 warheads, and fortified launch sites guarded by S-400 systems

: $100,000 drone strike destroyed $7 billion in Russian aircraft during Operation Spiderweb

: 15 million”

Later that same day, he highlighted progress on domestic drone manufacturing initiatives. Harrigan posted: “Proud to see @SenTedCruz leading SkyFoundry in the Senate after I launched the initiative in the House and secured key provisions in the #FY26NDAA.

SkyFoundry builds a fully American pipeline to design, test, and mass-produce FPV drones.

No more reliance on Chinese parts. No”

Pat Harrigan’s recent remarks come after his victory over Ralph R. Scott Jr., where he won with approximately 57.5% of the vote compared to Scott’s 38.2% in the November 2024 general election.
