Congressman Pat Harrigan, who won his seat in 2024 by defeating Ralph R. Scott, Jr., has recently posted a series of statements on his social media account addressing current events and political issues.

On October 5, 2025, Harrigan urged followers to tune in to an upcoming event, posting: “Tune in at 12PM ET! https://t.co/r1Mqxh8s8L”.

The following day, October 6, he commented on allegations involving a school bus driver accused of serious crimes: “Absolutely revolting. A man who went by “Ms. Sharon” was trusted to drive kids to school, and now he’s accused of luring and raping teenage boys. Whoever cleared him to work around children needs to answer for it. Fire them. Investigate them. Charge him and throw away the https://t.co/1V40qLkZ9O”.

Later that same day, Harrigan criticized Democratic lawmakers regarding government funding negotiations: “Democrats shut down the government to appease the far left. They’re demanding $1.5 trillion in new spending and $200 billion for illegal immigrant health care just to keep their base happy. And like most of their policies, it’s American families who end up paying for it.”

Pat Harrigan secured his congressional seat after winning the 2024 general election with 57.5% of the vote against Ralph R. Scott, Jr., who received 38.2%.
