County of Burke issued the following announcement on Oct. 10.
The following is a list of the days and dates on which the Burke County Board of Elections will meet (if necessary) to approve the applications for absentee ballots for the November General Election to be held on Tuesday, November 8th 2022.
The meetings will be held at the Board of Elections Office at 2128 South Sterling Street in Morganton, pursuant to G.S. 163-230.1(c1). Other business transacted by the board may be done at this time.
October 4th 2022 @ 10:00a.m.
October 11th 2022 @ 10:00a.m.
October 18th 2022 @ 10:00a.m.
October 25th @ 10:00a.m.
November 1st 2022 @ 10:00a.m..
November 8th 2022 @ 1:00p.m.—Election Day—Close O.S. machines, load
but don’t publish until 7:30pm—BOARD SIGNS TAPES
November 15th 2022 @ 2:00p.m.—Supplemental Abs. & Provisional meeting
November 18th 2022 @ 11:00a.m.—–CANVASS
