COUNTY OF BURKE: Board Of Commissioners Notice Of Intent To Lease Real Property

County of Burke issued the following announcement on Feb. 9.

Notice is hereby given in accordance with NCGS 160A-272, that the Burke County Commissioners intends to lease approximately 2,000 sq. ft. of real property located at 2128 S. Sterling Street, Suite 150 in Morganton, NC, to Burke Development Inc. for a term beginning 1-12-2021 to 6-30-2022, with a monthly rent of $816.  The lease also includes eight additional 12-month terms with an annual rent of $10,000.   The Board will consider a resolution authorizing the execution of the lease agreement at its regular meeting on March 15, 2022, at 6 p.m.
