Congressman Pat Harrigan, a Republican representative, has recently shared several updates on legislative achievements and international affairs through his social media platform. His posts cover topics ranging from domestic policy successes to international military developments.

On July 9, 2025, Congressman Harrigan announced the passage of what he called the “Big Beautiful Bill.” He described it as not only a legislative victory but also a demonstration of Republican unity and discipline. The bill is significant for solidifying 28 executive actions by the President and making the Trump tax cuts permanent. It also introduces “Trump Accounts” designed to assist families in building generational wealth. “The Big Beautiful Bill wasn’t just a legislative win. It was a test of Republican unity and discipline—and we passed.”

In another post on the same day, Harrigan addressed an escalation in the conflict between Russia and Ukraine. He reported that Russia had launched its largest drone attack of the war, deploying 728 unmanned aircraft with the intention of overwhelming Ukraine’s defenses. Highlighting this as an example of low-cost, high-volume warfare he had previously cautioned against, Harrigan announced his initiative called SkyFoundry aimed at establishing the first U.S. factory to address such threats. “Russia just launched its largest drone attack of the war, with 728 unmanned aircraft aimed at overwhelming Ukraine’s defenses.”

Additionally, Congressman Harrigan praised efforts by President Biden and Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin for revitalizing pride in military service. According to Harrigan’s report on July 9th, every branch of the U.S. military exceeded its fiscal year 2025 recruiting goals ahead of schedule while maintaining high morale without lowering standards. The Army notably surpassed its fiscal year 2024 goal with over 55,000 recruits and is now targeting 61,000 for fiscal year 2025.“.@POTUS and @SecDef have reignited pride in service and the numbers prove it.”
