On July 9, 2025, Congressman Harrigan announced the passage of what he called the “Big Beautiful Bill.” He described it as not only a legislative victory but also a demonstration of Republican unity and discipline. The bill is significant for solidifying 28 executive actions by the President and making the Trump tax cuts permanent. He reported that Russia had launched its largest drone attack of the war, deploying 728 unmanned aircraft with the intention of overwhelming Ukraine’s defenses. Additionally, Congressman Harrigan praised efforts by President Biden and Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin for revitalizing pride in military service. According to Harrigan’s report on July 9th, every branch of the U.S. military exceeded its fiscal year 2025 recruiting goals ahead of schedule while maintaining high morale without lowering standards.
