Later that day, he highlighted concerns about the impact of the shutdown on law enforcement personnel: “FBI agents stopped an ISIS-inspired terror attack in Michigan that could have killed dozens of Americans on Halloween.

The following day, November 4, Harrigan addressed public safety and immigration issues with another post: “Watch this video of an illegal immigrant 2 months before he killed 3 innocent Americans and ask yourself, do you want this guy on the road next to your wife and kids?

These statements come after Harrigan’s victory in the 2024 election where he won with 57.5% of the vote against Ralph R. Scott, Jr., securing his position as a member of Congress.
