Congressman Pat Harrigan has recently used his social media platform to comment on U.S. space ambitions, domestic security concerns, and opportunities for student artists.

On March 24, 2026, Harrigan posted about American involvement in lunar exploration, stating: “We should be all in on @NASAMoonBase. A permanent lunar base means America controls the high ground in space, develops technologies that will reshape life on Earth, and sends a clear message to China and every other competitor that we are not ceding this frontier to anyone.”

Later the same day, Harrigan addressed recent acts of violence within the United States. He wrote: “In just the last few weeks we have seen Islamic terrorist attacks in Texas, New York, Virginia, and Michigan, every single one carried out by someone we let into this country through our own immigration system. The fact that current law makes it nearly impossible to strip their”

He also promoted a community event for young artists from North Carolina’s 10th district. In another post dated March 24, 2026, he stated: “Calling all high school artists in #NC10. The Congressional Art Competition is open and the deadline is April 17th. Submit your work and get all the details at https://t.co/uu0HsrZMj3 https://t.co/oP6WyxFwCd”

Pat Harrigan serves as a member of Congress representing North Carolina’s 10th district. He was elected after defeating Ralph R. Scott, Jr. in the 2024 general election with approximately 57.5% of the vote.
