Congressman Pat Harrigan recently shared his views on international relations and national pride through a series of tweets. His posts, dated June 13 and 14, 2025, address issues concerning Iran, the United States’ alliance with Israel, and the celebration of Flag Day alongside the U.S. Army’s anniversary.

On June 13, Harrigan commented on Iran’s diplomatic stance by stating that “Iran was given 60 days to come to the table. They chose defiance, and now they’re paying the price for underestimating the free world.” This statement reflects ongoing tensions between Iran and other nations regarding diplomatic negotiations.

Later that day, Harrigan emphasized the importance of alliances in foreign policy. He tweeted that “United States interests always come first, but in a moment like this, we need to be clear about who our friends are.” He further expressed support for President Biden’s administration by saying “@POTUS understands that, which is why we will stand with Israel to the hilt.”

On June 14, Congressman Harrigan celebrated American identity and military history. He noted that it was both Flag Day and the U.S. Army’s 250th anniversary. In his words: “What a day to be an American! It’s Flag Day and the @USArmy turns 250.” He described these events as “Two powerful reminders of who we are, what we stand for, and why this country is worth fighting for.”
