Congressman Pat Harrigan has recently addressed foreign policy and legislative matters in a series of posts on his official Twitter account.

On February 19, 2026, Harrigan commented on the government of Iran, stating: “The Islamic Republic rules by fear at home and force abroad. Iran is an ancient, proud nation, and it deserves leaders who answer to their”.

Turning to domestic policy on February 20, 2026, Harrigan discussed legislative efforts regarding energy regulations: “I’m working to do exactly that by cosponsoring @RepCraigGoldman’s bill to put this into statute. @POTUS’s executive order was the first step, but codifying it means sunset clauses on energy regulations become the rule, not a temporary directive that can be reversed by the next”.

On February 22, 2026, Harrigan posted links without additional commentary: “https://t.co/PpX1PJKGvf https://t.co/I21dJDcivw”.

Pat Harrigan won his seat in Congress after defeating Ralph R. Scott, Jr. in the 2024 general election with 57.5% of the vote compared to Scott’s 38.2%.
