Position responsible for performing skilled and semi-skilled work and operating various motorized equipment that may include knuckleboom, street sweeper, leaf vacuum truck, rear loader garbage truck, front load garbage truck and may be asked to operate other equipment or trucks within the department as needed.

 This position works in all types of weather and includes assignments during storms and emergencies.  Must be able to perform minor maintenance, cleaning and related care of motorized equipment used. Must have working knowledge of traffic laws and regulations affecting the operation of motorized equipment.  

A valid Class B driver’s license is preferred and must have experience in operating heavy motorized equipment.  Must be able to climb in and out of equipment, and lift 50 lbs safely.  Starting salary: $ 29,665.
