CITY OF MORGANTON: COVID-19 State of Emergency Terminated

City of Morganton issued the following announcement on Aug. 17.

Whereas, on March 19, 2022, at 5:00 pm, as Mayor of the City Of Morganton, I determined and declared that a State of Emergency existed within the entire jurisdiction of the City Of Morganton.

Whereas, I have determined that the conditions constituting a state of emergency no longer exists in the City Of Morganton.

Now, therefore, I hereby terminate the above-referenced declaration of a state of emergency and all the restrictions and orders contained therein

This declaration is effective immediately.
