City of Hickory issued the following announcement on May 16.

Help craft the future of recreation in Hickory! The first two public input meetings for the Parks, Recreation & Sports Tourism master plan are coming up on Thursday, May 19 at Highland Recreation Center and Monday, May 23 at Ridgeview Recreation Center. Make plans to stop by 4:30-6:30 p.m. these dates to share your important feedback and ideas.
