City of Hickory issued the following announcement on June 24.

FAQ: How do I pay my City of Hickory utility bill? 

Answer: The City of Hickory offers several different payment methods for City of Hickory customers and accepts payments in cash, check, money order, bank draft, or credit/debit card.

ONLINE – Utilize the online payment system at HickoryNC.gov (https://bit.ly/3MTV9Mc) to make one-time payments or set up Auto Pay for your account.

MAIL – Use the provided envelope included with your utility bill to mail payments via United States Postal Service.

PHONE – Call 828-323-7424 to pay via the Automated Phone System.

DRIVE THRU – Drive up to the collections window at the drive thru behind City Hall to submit payments. The drive up window is open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

DROP BOX – A drop box is provided at the drive thru behind City Hall and is available 24/7.

IN-PERSON – Make payments and receive assistance at the Collections Counter on the second floor (main level) of City Hall.
