The lowest reported price for regular gas in Alexander County was $2.58 per gallon during the week ending Dec. 13 2025, available at one gas station, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.

The average reported price of regular gas across the county was $2.70 per gallon.

GasBuddy reports show that regular gas was available at 12 of the 18 reported gas stations in Alexander County.

The average reported price for a gallon of regular gas in North Carolina was $2.73, unchanged from the previous week.

U.S. gas prices continue to decline after reaching their lowest level since 2021, according to GasBuddy. The group projects the national average could dip below $2.80 per gallon during the holiday period, driven by increased oil production and lower seasonal demand.
