All Burke County offices will open one hour later than usual on Friday, December 5, 2025, due to concerns about inclement weather and potentially unsafe road conditions. Offices that typically open at 8:00 a.m. will instead open at 9:00 a.m.

The Meals on Wheels delivery service is also adjusting its schedule and will begin deliveries one hour later than normal.

Residents are advised to use caution when traveling in the morning.
