Former East Burke High School pitcher Barger Shook contributed to the Brevard Tornados’ 15-4 NCAA Division III baseball victory over the Piedmont Lions on Tuesday, March 17, at 4 p.m.

The matchup, held at Gil Coan Field, was the first meeting this season between the Tornados and Lions.

Shook threw three innings, allowing three earned runs with two walks and two strikeouts.

Brevard’s next game will take place at noon on Saturday, March 21, at Gil Coan Field against the Methodist Monarchs.
